James had been a coaching client for six months when he decided to sell his building & maintenance company to join his wife, who had accepted an overseas posting. We had worked to make his business attractive enough for a potential buyer, who was found when Tom expressed his interest. James told the buyer how much he had benefitted from his coaching experience. Tom subsequently agreed not only to buy the business but also to continue working with me as his coach. NICHING THE BUSINESS
John and I first met in 2015. Having a solid construction background, John wanted to start a construction business but was still determining his niche. We discussed different ideas, and through those conversations, we decided that developing a childcare construction business would be worthwhile pursuing as this was starting to shape up as a booming market.
